Our ethos is built on providing highly flexible and creative support solutions that represent both practicality and long term sustainability.

HOW WE PRACTICE:

All practice is guided by the DEAI Code of Ethics (2022). In practical terms, this means:

Informed Consent

Nothing begins without your genuine, ongoing consent. We explain everything clearly, in a way that works for you, before we proceed. You are free to change your mind at any time.

Confidentiality

Everything you share is handled with care, stored securely, and shared only with your explicit consent or where law requires. We are transparent from the outset about any limits.

Autonomy

You are the expert on your own life. Our role is to support and empower, not to direct or decide. We work with you to  build your self-advocacy skills, and aim to have every client feeling in control and empowered to manage their supports and life direction.

Duty of Care

We act in your best interests at all times, including raising concerns about safety or well-being with the appropriate people when required.

Scope of Practice

We work within our professional competencies and refer to the most appropriate specialist when your needs go beyond them. We are always transparent about where those limits lie.

Human Rights Model

Practice is grounded in the biopsychosocial and human rights models. Disability is understood to arise from the interaction between a person and their environment not from an individual deficit.

We uphold transparent practices and policies in all our work, fostering trust and accountability.

Above all, we champion true accessibility, not just in physical spaces, but in information, systems, and every interaction, ensuring the support you receive is responsive, equitable, and allows you to not only survive this system but thrive.
