How I think about autism:

Autism can make it harder for people to talk, understand others, and interact socially.

People with autism often have strong interests or like to do the same actions over and over.

These traits can be helpful and valuable. For example, having a strong interest in something can help a person focus and become very skilled in that area.

Every autistic person is different.

Some autistic people are very good at certain things, while they may find other things hard.

What they are good at or find hard can change depending on where they are or what is happening around them.
